Take Control of Your Facebook Notifications
Like many businesses, HEROweb has created a Facebook Page where we interact with our customers and others who have signed up for our notifications. Facebook gives you fine-grained control over notifications that you receive about activity on your personal page, but when it comes to Pages, you are limited to weekly updates or notifications about basic actions such as when someone makes you an admin of a page.
If you're trying to increase your social media presence and build your engagement with your followers on Facebook, you need to know right away when someone is commenting about you. The only way to do this currently, is to drop whatever you're working on and log in to Facebook and check to see if there is any activity.
We've discovered a better way! We're using a service called Hyper Alerts that sends you email notifications about any Facebook Page or Group that you want, as many as you want, whether you are an admin of the page or not. You can get alerts as soon as there is activity, hourly, weekly, or any time of day that you want, and you can create different settings for each page that you want to track. And perhaps best of all, it is free and, excuse the pun . . . "hyper" easy.
