Run a Mobile Only Promotion

For years now, "eCommerce" has been the norm. Now though, there is a huge shift toward "mCommerce", or mobile commerce. More consumers today have access to smartphones than computers. And as marketers, the smart way to reach your target customers is to find them where they are, namely, on their phones and tablets.

One way to do this is to place a code on your site that can be used for a discount or special offer when a customer places an order using a mobile device. Remind your customers on your social media channels that you have a mobile friendly website that they can access on the go.

Take advantage of people checking emails on their mobile devices (instead of computers) by sending out mobile optimized emails with offers and discounts specifically for your mobile customers. SMS text messaging is another way to market directly to your customers, although some surveys suggest that consumers prefer email messages to text messages. However you choose to reach out, make sure that your mobile services are prominently placed in all of your marketing campaigns, on your website and on all of your social media channels.
