Use Google Analytics Content Grouping to Segment Your Traffic
You can use Google Analytics' relatively new Content Grouping feature to segment traffic in your reports based on criteria you define. Grouping your content is a great way to learn how visitors interact with specific sections of your site, and discover where you should focus your efforts when you are updating and improving your site.
With Content Grouping, you can create five main groups (called “groupings”) and unlimited sub-groups.If you have an e-commerce website, you might want to group specific product categories. If you have a service-based business you might want to create a group for pages that include your portfolio of projects. Depending on your website, you may also want to include a grouping for checkout pages, for marketing pages (such as blogs), or support pages.
There are several methods of setting up your groups. For efficiency and ease of use, you may want to use keywords from page names or urls to create your groups.
