Update Your Email Subscriber Lists

The start of a new year is the natural time for a year-end email to your email subscriber lists, both old and new.

Prepare a quick survey to bring your lists up-to-date. Most email marketing providers (such as Constant Contact or Vertical Response) have survey creation tools, or you can use a survey provider such as SurveyMonkey. Let your subscribers that you hope they take this opportunity to update their information with you in hopes of serving them better in the coming year. Be sure to thank them for their support and patronage in the previous year. 

You’ll end up with a cleaner contact list, information that you can use to segment your email marketing with more success, and hopefully generate more post-holiday return visits to your website.
